Pallet Changer

The ARMS pallet changer is a mechanical unit applied mainly on horizontal machining centres. The cam mechanism permits the transformation of an input rotary motion in a uniform sequence of intermittent movements of the output shaft, to which the pallet grip arm is splined. The entire cycle composed of grip, rotation and laying of pallets is realized through a complete turn of the cam shaft. The complete turn could take from 2.5 to 6 seconds, in accordance to the weight and the pallet entraxe. Rotation angle of the arm for pallet gripping is usually 180°; it is also possible to project units with different angles (90°, 60°, 45°, 30)
